Fintech H2020 and European Central Bank Virtual Workshop – Network Models & Big Data Analytics and Explainable Artificial Intelligence

On the 25th of November 2020 the representatives of the Horizon2020 project A FINancial supervision and TECHnology compliance training programme will host a virtual Workshop for the European Central Bank. With the occasion of the event, the representatives of the Fintech Project, namely the Pavia team under the coordination of Professor Paolo Giudici will present to the represenattives of the European Central Bank two of the main results of the project and will receive feedback and further recommendations.

During the first part of the event the use case entitled Network based credit risk models, was presented by Arianna Agosto and Paolo Giudici to the attendees. The use case was developed for the first pillar of the project focusing on Big Data Analytics. For the second part of the event the focus was on the use case entitled Explainable machine learning in credit risk management, presented by Paolo Giudici and Emanuela Raffinetti. The use case was developed as part of the second pillar of the project, namely the management of the risk associated with using Artificial Intelligence by fintechs.
